You are responsible to cover the cost of your own airfare. We do not charge to join any of the activities or lectures in Israel.
The Yarchei Kalla will be renting a limited number of apartments for participants. These apartments are available free of charge on a first come first serve basis. You are also welcome to arrange for your own accommodations (Please note that most of the learning will occur in the Ramat Eshkol neighborhood).
In an effort to make the trip as successful as possible we request that you participate in all the lectures and activities. We have arranged the schedule so that there is enough variety, resources, downtime and trips so that everyone should be able to fully participate.
Yes. The schedule was designed to allow for ample time to visit with friends and family.

Please note transportation to and from the airport in Israel will be based on the group flight times.
Not at all. Morning seder will consist of preparation for shiur (90 minutes) and shiur (90 minutes). There will be many Rabbis from Valley Village on the Yarchei Kalla to help you prepare for the shiur, regardless of your learning expertise We will also have two shiurim each morning at different levels so that you can choose the shiur that fits you best.
There is a two-step signup process.
First: Please submit the information requested on the sign-up information page.
Second: After you submit the information requested on the sign-up page you will receive an email requesting additional information. This is the information that we need in order to arrange the logistics of the trip. Once you submit this information you are fully registered for the Yarchei Kalla.
